It’s been another great week in Year 6! In literacy we re-drafted our short stories about a first day of school based on ‘Cider With Rosie’, and turned them into interactive books using MS Powerpoint. In French we learned how to tell someone our favourite lesson, in music we learned a new ukulele chord with Miss Fort, and in maths we have been using co-ordinates to plot points and draw shapes, as you can see here:
Next week is our assessment week, so make sure you get plenty of rest over the weekend and are fresh as daisies for Monday morning! Once the assessments are over however, we’ve got our second bread baking day on Thursday, we’ll be sharing our projects on the same day, and are really looking forward to our trip to the William Morris Gallery on Friday. Remember there are no spellings or homework this week in order to give you a chance to get those projects finished off – well done if yours already is!
Have a fun weekend and I’ll see you all next week 🙂
