This week we have continued our ‘Traditional Tales’ topic and have learnt the story of The Gingerbread Man. We have created a giant gingerbread man, completed a gingerbread man experiment, designed a gingerbread man and we will be baking one too. In maths we have continued our work on addition. In PE this half term we have learnt how to roll, jump, balance and travel in different ways and put these skills into a sequence. Everyone will be bringing their PE kits home this week please check all the clothes are labelled and belong to your child. The children are still learning how to look after their own items so you may find some of the items are not yours. Please could you ensure that they have shorts and jogging bottoms as the children need both in school. After half term is International Week in school and we will be learning about France. If you have any items related to France that the children would like to share please bring them in.
