This week we have had an exciting week learning about mini beasts and their micro habitats. The children have really enjoyed learning about where they live and why they live in those locations. We have read ‘Superworm’ by Julia Donaldson this week and have made our own giant superworm to decorate and mini Superworms. In literacy we made our own super mini beast characters and talked about our favourite part of the story. We have also enjoyed ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ we have made our own wobblers, feelings puppets, danced and used the musical instruments. In maths we are recapping the use of tens frames to subtract. Next week we will be learning about bees and their importance and in literacy we will be continuing our work on ‘Superworm’. Here are a few photos of some of the activities we have completed this week.
