We have had another busy week learning about minibeasts, we have been learning about bees, their life cycle, how honey is made and their importance. We have had the opportunity to try some different types of honey and had a discussion about what we liked and disliked about it. We have also made handprint bees, anger beasts and printed in 10s and 5s using the Numicon. In literacy this week we have made our own ‘Superworm’ story maps and wrote about what baby animal our super minibeasts would save. In PE we spent time with Mr Harris learning to balance a ball on a racket and played some games using balls. We hope everyone has a relaxing week off and we look forward to seeing you for our final half term in Reception. The first week back after half term is our ‘Olympic Week’ and we have lots of exciting activities to try. Here are a few photos of what we’ve been up to this week.
