What lovely weather to come back to our final half-term in Reception. We’ve really been embracing our ‘Olympic Week’ and enjoying our sponsored dances. This week we have tried Zumba, Cardio drumming, hockey, running on the track, learnt the Hakka, completed some workouts and did some target throwing. We have also made our own flags and have learnt the song Wavin’ Flag by K’NAAN. We have also enjoyed a fantastic assembly with Olympic athlete Margaret Adeoye she talked to us about what it is like to be an elite athlete and compete in the Olympic games. We are really looking forward to Sports Day on Friday. Next week we will be learning all about the 2021 Euros and will have the opportunity to design our own football kits.
