What a lovely week we’ve had!
The sun has shone everyday allowing the whole school, year 3 included, to get down onto the field at lunch time.
In keeping with this fine Spring weather, this week in Science, the class were exploring the different parts of flowers.
They quickly understood there is a lot more to a flower than just the petals. Other parts include the anther, filament, stigma and style. This is a really fun and easy activity to try at home; see how many parts you can identify.
