In our DT lesson, we began work on our Christmas ornaments. We have been designing these over the last few weeks and this week we made the bases of our ornaments using salt dough. Once we had made the bases, they were placed into the oven, for 2 hours, in order for them to harden.
This week, in maths, the class have been exploring angles. At the start of the week we learnt that an angle is the amount of turn between two lines, that meet at a point.
Later in the week we used right angle checkers ,which can be made from the corner of a piece of card, to calculate if different angles were less than (acute) or greater than (obtuse) a right-angle.
