Hello!
Here is this week’s homework:
The days are getting shorter but we’ve been working away as hard as ever in Year 6! In maths this week we finished off our fractions, decimals and percentages with some fractions calculations, featuring all four operations. In DT we investigated existing structures which will be a vital step before planning our own, in French we learned some more vocabulary but using feminine nouns as opposed to masculine, and in literacy we planned, drafted, peer marked and published our Carrie’s War diaries, as you can see here:
Next week we will be starting brand new units in literacy (winter poetry) and maths (measurement and statistics) which are sure to contain loads of vital learning as we edge towards the end of term! In computing we will be adding the final few touches to our World War II multimedia presentations, in science we’ll press on with our work on adaptation and inheritance and in PE we’ll be cracking ahead with gymnastics – the Olympics are surely just a tumble away!
Have a lovely weekend and we will see you all next week 🙂
