Hello!
It was Gaming Week in Year 6 this week, and what a great week it was! We created and published stories about a character who gets stuck in a video game with Miss O’Grady, and put our Powerpoint and Scratch skills to great use as we became game developers and alpha testers for the week! We have also done some brilliant sewing this week to create our pencil cases, had a really positive and productive Irish Dancing lesson this afternoon, and were lucky enough to have some feathery friends visit this morning, as you can see here:
Next week is Outdoor Week, which seemed appropriate given that we have our exciting two-day trip to Wildtime Education on Tuesday and Wednesday! Don’t forget that you’ll need a packed lunch both days, clothing that allows you to be active, and make sure you check the forecast and bring something waterproof if it looks like rain!
