Happy Occasional Day!
It may have been a slightly shorter week but we still got plenty of work achieved in Year 6! In literacy we learned about modal verbs, hyphens and how to write multi-clause sentences about our Fantastic Beasts. In maths we learned how to draw line graphs and pie charts and how to answer questions about both. In computing we added the finishing touches to our WWII multimedia presentations, in RE we compared Buddhism and Christianity and in DT we completed some fantastic technical drawings of shelters as well as planning our own.
Next week we’ll be drafting, peer marking and publishing our Fantastic Beast information texts, as well as learning how to find the mean, median, mode and range of given data. We’ll also learn how fossils help us to understand the world, we’ll evaluate our multimedia presentations and we’ll be recording our Christmas ukulele song – a great week without a doubt!
Have a lovely long weekend and I’ll see you all next week 🙂
