Measurement and Statistics Week 2
This week we have been practising our simile, metaphor and personification skills in literacy, writing some excellent poems in the process! We also learned how to draw and interpret data from line graphs in maths. In science we researched how different animals are adapted to their environments, in geography we started group projects about animals who live in different biomes and in DT we began work on our shelters, as you can see here:
Next week we’re planning to write a selection of winter poems, before publishing our favourites at the end of the week. We’ll also be learning about mean, median, mode and range in maths. In computing we’ll be finishing off our WWII multimedia presentations, in French we’ll be writing some extended sentences about our classroom and don’t forget that it’s the dress rehearsal of our Christmas play on Friday, so get those costumes in ASAP!
