Who are we and what do we do?
The Friends of Hartsbourne School (F.O.H.) comprises a small committee of parents and school staff who plan, organise and hold a number of activities over the year both to raise much-needed funds for the school and to provide fun and enjoyable social occasions for children and parents alike. All parents are welcome to attend F.O.H. meetings and share any thoughts or ideas with the committee.
Events such as the Summer Fair are occasions for anyone associated with Hartsbourne School and surrounding areas (past, present or future!) to come along and share the enjoyable atmosphere. We also hold regular, smaller events such as quiz nights, bingo evenings and treasure hunts.
Our primary aim is to raise funds for Hartsbourne School. Through these contributions, we can enable the school to buy equipment, furnish the classrooms or send the teachers on a well-deserved holiday. Well, maybe not the last one!!
Meetings are held regularly and we openly encourage anyone to come along and share their thoughts or ideas. For more information, please email the school at [email protected]
Birthday Books
The Birthday Book Club has been running successfully for a number of years now. Thank you to all of those who have taken part, ensuring a continual stream of exciting new library books. The children are always thrilled to see the new books and have really enjoyed being presented with them in an assembly.
